For the first time in 20 years, the Congress of the World Federation of Building Service Contractors (WFBSC) will be held in the U.S. This year also marks the 20th anniversary of the massive bi-annual conference, which will take place at The New York Marriot Marquis in New York City, April 6-9, 2014. Established in 1978, the Congress highlights some of the biggest innovations in building care services and joins together the industry’s leading innovators to exchange ideas for the future.
This year, the Congress is focused on educating attendees about strategy, health and people. I will join six other executives from influential companies such as ISS and Harvard Maintenance in a panel on April 7. We will discuss how to implement successful strategies and technologies to improve organizational performance. Since Diversey Care develops innovations that elevate performance, safety and sustainability, I have many insights that I am excited to share and look forward to presenting beside other industry thought leaders.
On April 8, in an effort to promote health and how the industry can become more relevant, the Congress will welcome presentations from Jerome Peribere, CEO of Sealed Air, and Richard E. Besser M.D. Our CEO will discuss “The Value of Clean,” providing BSCs a better understanding of how to communicate their value and the benefits of cleaning to their customers. Although cleaning should never be considered an optional service, BSCs increasingly must demonstrate their value to organizations looking to cut costs.
I’m looking forward to the Congress and hope that you will join us in learning from some of the largest BSCs from around the world. Stay up to date with Diversey Care during the show by following us on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
