In November 2017, Sealed Air announced our commitment to hire veterans into five percent of all open positions in 2018 at our Global Corporate Headquarters. At a recent Sealed Air Veterans Network event, we proudly shared that we're not just meeting our pledge but exceeding it.

In fact, we’ve hired veterans into an average of 13 percent of open roles in the U.S. since January 2018.

“Veterans are an important part of our community and our business,” said Jim Whaley, VP, Communications and Government Affairs. “By leveraging their proven skills and abilities, we can continue to grow as a world-class organization.”

During last week’s event, members of the Veterans Network collected canned goods for the Veterans Affairs Clinic located across the street from the Global Corporate Headquarters. These canned goods will be distributed to homeless veterans who visit the clinic for medical care.

The Sealed Air Veterans Network is a global network for all employees who have either served in the military or who are interested in supporting veterans. The Veterans Network seeks to develop a culture where employees are valued for their military experience, facilitate community among veteran employees, and support veterans in the communities we serve. Sealed Air is dedicated to supporting all veterans and active military employees around the globe.
