Vice President, Corporate Communications, Sustainability, and Government Affairs
Jim Whaley is Vice President, Corporate Communications, Sustainability, and Government Affairs. Jim leads our global communications and sustainability organizations and is responsible for internal and external corporate communications, sustainability, branding, public affairs and philanthropic and governmental strategies. Jim plays a key role in bringing our vision, mission and values to life through a focus on integrated communications campaigns. His office is in Elmwood Park, NJ.
Jim is an accomplished leader and public relations executive who brings extensive global experience in marketing, government relations, crisis communications and cultural change. He joins us from Siemens Corporation, North America where he was Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Marketing and Chairman of the Siemens Foundation. At Siemens, he directed a comprehensive internal and external strategic communications plan to improve their brand. Prior to Siemens, Jim had a successful career as an officer in the U.S. Army. He held the position of Director, Public Affairs and Communications at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served in a variety of leadership positions in Army Aviation.
