At SEE, celebrating our people and their accomplishments is a core part of our culture. In our “Meet: Our People” series, you’ll hear directly from our people across the globe on what it’s like working at SEE, and a little bit about them outside of work.
Where are you located? Passirana, Italy.
How long have you been at SEE? 3 years.
What was your journey to your current role? My career path has been one of continuous learning and growth. After earning my bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, I soon found myself drawn to the broader business context. This led me to pursue a master's degree in management engineering, with a major in supply chain management, which allowed me to develop a deep understanding of business processes and systems, as well as a passion for supply chain. I then gained valuable experience in logistics analysis at H&M. And today, I work as a supply planner, utilizing my expertise to ensure efficient production, transportation, and distribution of SEE’s rollstock and CRYOVAC® brand Darfresh® solutions.
What’s your favorite part of your position? My favorite part of my job is collaborating with different departments. I work closely with production teams, logistics teams, and sales teams to ensure that everyone is aligned on the production and delivery of goods. This collaboration fosters a sense of teamwork and can lead to creative solutions and innovations.
Growing up, was there someone in your life that inspired you to become who you are today? My parents were my biggest inspiration growing up. My father taught me the value of hard work and encouraged me to pursue my passions and never give up on my dreams, no matter how difficult they may seem, while my mother showed me the importance of kindness and compassion for others. She showed me that even small acts of compassion can make a big difference in someone's life. Together, my parents provided me with a strong foundation of values and beliefs that have shaped who I am today. They taught me to believe in myself and to always strive to be the best version of myself that I can be. I am grateful for their love and support.
What is your favorite mantra or quote? “Always walk through life as if you have something new to learn, and you will.” ― Vernon Howard
The moment you think you know everything, you stop growing. Therefore, it is important to always keep an open mind and always be open to learning. Don't stick to your own beliefs and ideologies. Be fluid like water and open to all the wisdom and knowledge out there.
If I could have lunch with one person from history, who would it be? Buddha would be an incredible person to have lunch with from history. As he is known for his teachings on mindfulness, meditation, and the path to enlightenment, which have inspired millions of people around the world for over 2,500 years. Will be interesting to know his views on spirituality, the nature of existence, and the causes of suffering, and learn more about his journey to achieving enlightenment.
Who has been your biggest professional and personal influence, and how have they shaped your growth and development? My husband has been an incredible influence on my professional and personal growth. He has always been supportive of my goals, provided me with valuable feedback, and encouraged me to take on new challenges. His unwavering support has given me the confidence to pursue my passions and push myself out of my comfort zone. His positive attitude and unyielding belief in me have been instrumental in shaping my outlook on life.
