Forming films are used for top or bottom web applications with vacuum skin or MAP.
The CRYOVAC® brand family of forming webs are used with MAP, vacuum packaging, and other flexible packaging applications. These tough, abuse-resistant materials form easily and are compatible with a variety of non-forming webs and are used in a variety of applications.

CRYOVAC® brand barrier forming webs offer passive or active barrier properties — passive to provide oxygen and moisture protection, active to scavenge odors. Our barrier forming webs can be plain or printed, and can even be printed on shrink side walls with assistance from SEE™ Graphic Services. Typically used in fresh or frozen applications in which a barrier is essential to protect or extend the shelf life of a product.
