Sealed Air (NYSE:SEE) is exhibiting at the National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show in Chicago’s McCormick Place May 20-23, 2017. Located in Booth S434, the Sealed Air display will feature a range of innovative Cryovac® packaging solutions designed to help food service operators improve the customer experience, while ensuring food safety and reducing labor, food waste, and cost.

At this year's NRA show, Sealed Air will showcase several solutions featuring the company’s Corporate Chef, Susan Edwards. Susan will be creating chef-prepared, gourmet meals using various Sealed Air packaging solutions including the new Simple Steps® Bowls. Part of the Cryovac brand offering to food service operators, Simple Steps is a vacuum-sealed, microwave packaging technology that saves time in kitchen preparation while ensuring flavors and ingredients are captured at their freshest.

Other Sealed Air solutions on display include:

  • Cryovac FlexPrep which simplifies back-of-house dispensing of sauces and condiments
  • Cryovac Oven Ease® which streamlines preparation of main dishes and sides, extends hold time and makes clean-up a breeze
  • Cryovac Vertical Pouch Packaging (VPP) for more efficient storage, safer handling and easier opening of hot and cold foods

“We always look forward to the opportunity to interact with our customers at the NRA show” said Lucian Gray, North American business development director for food service at Sealed Air. “This year we’re excited to present some of our newest packaging solutions developed to help food service operators streamline preparation and clean-up, lower costs and differentiate themselves in the marketplace.”
