Sealed Air Corporation, a Fortune 500 company engaged in the business of food packaging and food safety, cleaning and hygiene solutions launched an initiative Soap for Hope in association with, Doctors for You, an NGO in Mumbai. The programme is about recycling left over soap. The initiative ties in very well with the PMs Swatch Bharat Programme.

Present at the launch were Himanshu Jain, MD and VP Sealed Air Indian­subcontinent and South East Asia, Sealed Air, Stefan Phang, Director, Sustainability and CSR, Sealed Air Corporation and Dr Rajat Jain, Vice­President, Doctors For You and Dr Naresh Gill, Head, Mumbai Operations.

Sealed Air aims to recycle used hotel soaps into fresh soap for distribution to local communities. In Mumbai, the joint workshop held by Sealed Air and Doctors For You provided a step­-by­-step demonstration of the soap­recycling process.
