With patented easy-open seal technology, Darfresh® Rollstock stands out in packaging innovation. If you need something unique, this product range proposes re-close features, custom print and pigmentation options to meet your specific needs.

Designed with sustainability in mind, CRYOVAC brand Darfresh Rollstock helps reduce packaging carbon footprint*** by 60% when compared to tray skin and up to 40% less versus MAP while bottom webs contain at least 30% post-consumer recycled Polyethylene terephthalate.
In addition, the high abuse, tight vacuum and safe-seal properties of your pack helps reduce food waste by 50%* compared to MAP by preventing product disposal due to discolouration or short shelf life, making it a truly sustainable choice.

Use of post consumer recycled PET behind a functional barrier in accordance with Reg. (EU) 2022/1616

Our Darfresh Bottom Web contains post-consumer recycled PET (r-PET) where r-PET layer is embossed between two layers of virgin PET. The layer of virgin PET in contact with food acts as a ”functional barrier” preventing any possible contaminants in the rPET to be transferred to food in a quantity that endangers human health and, therefore, making the final structure compliant with art. 3 of Regulation (EC) 1935/2004.
Sealed Air follows the new obligations set by the European Commission through Regulation EU 2022/1616 on recycled plastic materials and articles intended to come in contact with food. In particular, in accordance with article 32(2) of the above regulation applicable to manufacture of materials and articles in which the recycled plastic is used behind a functional barrier, we joint a consortium established by PETCORE Europe AISBL and EUPC AISBL to act as developer of functional barrier technology for r-PET. As a member of the consortium, SEE has provided information and data to prepare a detailed report containing the information on the process and the safety of the finished article we put on the market. In accordance with Article 10(4), a detailed initial report is available at the following website page: https://www.petcore-europe.org/functional-barrier.html
