CHARLOTTE, NC – Sealed Air Corporation (NYSE: SEE) announced that it has been ranked fifth among publicly traded companies in the U.S. for sustainability practices by Newsweek Green Rankings in addition to being named Best in Industry U.S. for containers and packaging.

The 2017 U.S. Newsweek Green Rankings assess the overall environmental performance of the 500 largest publicly-traded companies based on revenue headquartered in the U.S. Conducted in partnership with Corporate Knights, methodology is based on eight environmental metrics in a rules-based way that meets the test of being replicable by a third party.
In November 2017, Sealed Air was recognized by CDP as an industry leader and awarded an "A-" rating for its climate change work to reduce environmental impacts.
