The ALR2 features two bag presenters in one system and visual identification to determine the bag needed for a right-sized fit, even when product shapes vary as they come down the production line.

Designed as the start of a fully automated, touchless packaging system, the ALR2 operates at speeds up to 20 packages per minute and integrates seamlessly with other auxiliary equipment. Cloud-based, intuitive operating software and a user-friendly touch screen allow real-time visibility to all connected equipment.

The CRYOVAC® ALR2 system qualifies for the SEE™ Advanced Maintenance Program (AMP), a proactive, preventive maintenance plan that makes it easy to budget and schedule regular maintenance on your own terms, so you can avoid costly, lost production hours due to unexpected downtime.

Frequently Asked Questions

The robotic arm of the ALR2 gently and automatically positions an open shrink bag over the product, while our other automated bag loaders use a combination of push rods and conveyors that insert a rigid product like deli meats or hard cheese into the bag. While both systems are considered touchless, the robotic ALR2 offers a choice of two bag types based on product identification and is better suited for more pliable foods like fresh meats and poultry.
