Our form fill seal films are engineered to work with our specialized CRYOVAC® brand VFFS equipment that applies a sealed external tap before filling. With no oxygen ingress until the bag is pierced by the process of opening the tap, our unique design ensures an opened wine container stays fresh almost twice as long as an opened bottle.

Sealed Air proudly offers both CRYOVAC® and LIQUIBOX® solutions for bag-in-box wine and the difference between the two comes down to the equipment lines and what types of materials are used in each.
CRYOVAC® VFFS BIB equipment is fed by rollstock film that creates each pouch on the machine just prior to filling. This process is fast and efficient for high volume operations and hermetically seals the package until it is punctured by the tap when ready for use. This unique opening feature along with FS series film properties help extend product shelf life.
LIQUIBOX® BIB equipment is fed by a roll or box of pre-made pouches. LIQUIBOX® systems are designed to be scalable and more affordable, making them an ideal choice for smaller operations or specialized applications.
Bag-in-Box wine packaging is lighter and less fragile than glass bottles, making it easier to transport for picnics and events. The cost-effective format allows easy pouring of specific amounts and once opened, bag-in-box wine can often last several weeks, compared to just a few days for traditional bottled wine.
