Sold together, this 3-piece equipment group is designed to handle CRYOVAC® gusseted cheese pouches, that come ready to be inserted into a stainless steel cassette.
The CL20 Cheese Block Loader receives 40# blocks from forming towers and inserts them into gusseted pouches. The RG20 Bag Re-gusset Equipment folds and prepares the bags for vacuum sealing. And the UBT Block Turner provides smooth rotation of bagged, block cheese by 90 or 180 degrees using a third of the space that standard conveyors require.
Automating the process of bagging 40# block cheese reduces labor risks associated with repetitive motion and high stress positions while moving heavy objects. Mechanical processes create consistent product positioning in each bag, which helps ensure consistent sealing and product protection for optimized yield.

Automated bag loading is critical when handling large, heavy food products such as 40# block cheese. Lifting or pulling a bag manually over these heavy, somewhat unwieldy products during a typical production shift creates the risk for employee injury.
