No. The seal of a CRYOVAC® brand FlexPrep® pouch is designed to break in a specific way when placed in a specialized Server Products or Franke FoodService dispenser. The proprietary combination of film type, seal type, and dispenser type are unique to the FlexPrep® system and has been designed to ensure 98% evacuation.
CRYOVAC® brand FlexPrep® VFFS machines can package sauces, condiments, or dressings ranging in viscosity from balsamic vinaigrette to peanut butter, from ketchup to hot fudge, from sour cream to nacho cheese. The dispensing units available from Franke Foodservice and Server Products Company have also been designed to accommodate a wide range of viscosities. Depending on product types, some pouches may require gentle heating for application at end use.
