Our People

Meet: Anna Di Bello, Director APAC Marketing

At Sealed Air, celebrating our people and their accomplishments is a core part of our culture. In our “Meet: Our People” series, you’ll hear directly from our people across the globe on what it’s like working at SEE, and a little bit about them outside of work.

Where I’m located: Macquarie Park, Australia.

Length of time with SEE: This is my second tour of duty with SEE. I was previously with the Diversey1 business for almost 4 years, leaving in 2013 and rejoining in 2017, with almost 5 years the second time around.

My workday consists of: Being Collaborative with people to make things happen. Core to this is ensuring the regional commercial teams are in the best position to win, grow, and retain new business with automated, digitally connected, sustainable packaging. Over the past two and half years, I have been part of a dedicated cross-functional global team to bring connected packaging into the APAC region, with the first prismiq 3040 to be installed outside of North America.

What I enjoy most about working at SEE is: I am always learning something new. Whether it's understanding the different circular economy business models and technologies for circular resins (the primary raw material used in the production of packaging materials), to being fascinated about the potential power of artificial intelligence and deep learning when we realize our vision of digitally connected equipment and packaging ecosystem, to the creative expression of innovative pieces of art that our designers and technologists design for our customers.

I feel passionate about the future at SEE because: I want a low carbon circular economy to become a reality. I know I can play a role in influencing and fast tracking the adoption of technologies to make this happen, and know we are making a difference.

The core value that inspires me the most is Innovative because: Being innovative has the underlying promise of being better or cleverer where the markets we serve rewards us with their business and loyalty. Link that innovation effort to solving higher-order problems, and that makes me proud to be a part of it.

Someone who was an important influence on my career was a previous mentor because: He always managed to give me his interesting projects. At the time, I didn't realize that they were stretch goals building my exposure, capabilities, and making me become comfortable with ambiguity. But, while I had many challenging assignments, he also ensured that everyone had a lot of space for creativity, fun, and laughter at work. The sense of accomplishment was powerful. As a team, we truly felt that we could do anything. It's a core belief that I still hold and is especially true at SEE with the talented people I get to work with each day.
