At SEE, celebrating our people and their accomplishments is a core part of our culture. In our “Meet: Our People” series, you’ll hear directly from our people across the globe on what it’s like working at SEE, and a little bit about them outside of work.

Where are you located:  Abrera, Barcelona, Spain.

How long have you been at SEE?  16 years.

My career path to my current role was:  I have always been interested in getting to know different cultural environments, and different places. This is what drove me to want to work in different countries, it has been a dream fulfilled. I have a bachelor's in business administration from the University of Humberside (U.K.). After completing my degree, I started my professional career in Brussels, at the European Commission. This position allowed me to interact with colleagues from all over Europe. This is where I worked for a period of nine years, this has been a very important experience in my life. Upon returning to Spain, I joined SEE as a Sales Assistant in 2007.

Could you tell me a little about your current role? I currently have many responsibilities as Local Sales Support in Sales, Business Development & Retail departments, such as any administrative sales tasks like meetings and support for these teams. Some of the roles and responsibilities I have are to ensure local sales reports are reliable for business analysis and decisions. I also support the sales team with opportunities, leads, appointments and help run business analysis, which includes running reports and creating various dashboards. In coordination with the European Rebate Team, I have the responsibility to ensure contracts and conditions are set up in the system, sending contracts to customers and setting individual yearly calculations.

What’s your favorite part of your position?  I like doing business analysis tasks that would help with business decisions. Knowing I support and help my colleagues in any sales support-related tasks I am acquainted with brings me a great sense of purpose. I also enjoy being involved in tasks that involve challenges and learning. In general, I love feeling that I provide added value with my work to the business. I enjoy teamwork.

What is your favorite mantra or quote?   “The beauty of style and harmony and grace and good rhythm depend on simplicity” - Platon

Outside of the office, where can we find you?  I love nature, both the mountains and the sea. I like to do any activity that allows me to be in contact with it, walking and cycling, mainly. I consider myself an active person, and sport has always been an important part of my life. I also like to discover new places and culture, so I love to travel.

I feel passionate about culture at SEE because: It allows me to develop professionally and personally in a collaborative environment. I also will say it allows me to build friendships with many of my colleagues, which for me, makes it a unique place to work. I always feel supported and free to express what I think, so I have an environment of complete trust. The culture of growth and continuous training is important, as well as the job opportunities it offers.
