Leak-proof Tray Seals with High Visibility

Tray overwrap packaging generally comes in two styles: Tuck & Fold or End-Seal.

Tuck & Fold tray packaging is where plastic film wraps around the entire tray and adheres to itself with the application of heat. It’s the type of tray packaging typically used for produce or low-moisture proteins.

End-Seal packaging also wraps the entire tray, but the end-seal equipment seals the film to itself along the bottom and two short ends of the tray, creating seals of very high integrity. End-Seal overwrap creates a smooth surface on the top and bottom of the package, perfect for high quality printing on both sides.

End-Seal packaging is ideal for high moisture products such as fresh cut meats, poultry, or seafood.

How2Recycle began in 2008 as a project of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition. Behind every label is a custom recyclability assessment that continuously evolves in alignment with changing regulations in the U.S. and Canada.

Brands that want to use the How2Recycle label on their packaging must go through the certification process themselves, however, a pre-qualified material, such as CRYOVAC® brand SES overwrap film, helps to streamline this process.
